Where to Print (And Price Comparison)

family photography at blink inc 4.jpg

We capture gorgeous, professional digital photographs that can be taken to any photo lab for printing and they will look just as beautiful as if they were printed by a professional photographer. The printer is not what makes our photos so stunning. It’s our professional photographers who all hold degrees in photography, it’s our enormous space that allows for beautifully lit moments and candids, and it’s our wonderful clients that always blow us away with their creativity and ideas.

With all of that said, clients always ask what specific photo labs we recommend. You can go to CVS, Target, Walgreens, or Costco and walk away with beautiful prints. Here are our favorite labs that we trust with our images along with a little price comparison to get you started.

Bay Photo – https://www.bayphoto.com

They offer two options for printing: professional and economic. The professional option will cost a little more money because the team at Bay Photo personally color corrects your files. The economy version skips this step. We’ve printed through both options and we’ve loved every print we’ve created with them.

The bonus? They’re local for our Bay Area clients! If you ever have any questions about their software or if you want to physically touch or examine the products you’re thinking of buying (holiday cards or press printed books, for example), you can hop in the car and make a trip to Scotts Valley and they will be more than happy to assist you.

For reference, an 8×10 with professional color correction will cost you $3.50 while an economic version will cost you $1.79.

Shutterfly – https://www.shutterfly.com/

Shutterfly is often a go-to for many families, and there’s a reason for that! They’re fast, their products are high quality, and they offer great discounts and deals throughout the season. We love their photo books for how fun and colorfully they print. They offer cute scrapbook designs that make creating gifts for your family as easy as a click of a button.

For reference, an 8×10 will cost you $3.99.

IPrintFromHome – https://iprintfromhome.com

This interface is extremely user-friendly, and that’s a big part of why we love I Print From Home so much. You can upload your images straight into the website and order from there without having to download any software. The staff is friendly and professional and we love the photo prints we’ve created with them.

For reference, an 8×10 will cost you $2.00.
